Amazon Opens Subscribe & Save to Seller-Fulfilled (FBM) Orders

Amazon has announced an expansion of its Subscribe & Save program to include seller-fulfilled products. This initiative, aimed at FBA sellers, offers discounts on regularly purchased items when customers commit to future purchases on a set schedule through the program.

According to Amazon, integrating seller-fulfilled products into Subscribe & Save can help merchants increase sales conversions, encourage repeat purchases, and enhance brand growth. More details for FBA Subscribe & Save are available on the Amazon website.

Starting later this month, Amazon will automatically enroll eligible, replenishable products at the default discount specified in sellers’ Subscribe & Save settings. Sellers who have previously set default discounts for Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) Subscribe & Save will find these settings also applied to their seller-fulfilled Subscribe & Save selections effective June 27, 2024.

While sellers have the option to opt out of automatic enrollment, doing so will not affect products currently enrolled in FBA Subscribe & Save. However, there is currently no separate opt-out mechanism for seller-fulfilled Subscribe & Save; once enrolled, sellers can manage their selections at the individual offer level.

It's important for sellers to update their discount settings for each product after the June 27, 2024 launch. For further details, refer to the full announcement on Amazon Seller Central.
