Heads up Amazon sellers! Amazon has recently introduced a new auto-cancellation feature for FBM consumer orders. This may come as a surprise to many as I don't recall there being any prior communication from Amazon.
With this feature, FBM orders will be automatically cancelled as long as the cancellation request is made within the seller's preset auto-cancellation time period. It is important to note that sellers cannot opt-out of this feature but can set the auto-cancellation time period window between 30 minutes to 72 hours.
If you or any of your clients have FBM listings and use a software solution to import orders via API, make sure to adjust the API call schedule to pull orders after the auto-cancellation window.
To set this feature, navigate to Settings > Shipping Settings > General Shipping Settings.
